Below are listed all the local events, fiestas and public holidays that we are aware of. Do note that even if we have not yet specified details for the current year, most fiestas take place on the same dates each year.
With regard to the dates for the Summer fiestas, please be aware that we usually do not get confirmation from the tourist office of the dates and program until a few days beforehand.

The fiesta of the Verge del Carme (Virgen de Carmen) is held in honour of the Patron Saint of seafarers and fishermen and traditionally celebrated on 16th July. In Puerto Pollensa the festivities take place over a period of eight days normally culminating on the closest Sunday to 16th July. On that day a Mass is held in the evening followed by processions and flotillas and closing with a firework display on the beach by La Gola at midnight.

Daily festivities in preparation for Moors and Christians 'battle' on 2-Aug. See Fiesta de la Patrona de Pollenca for a description. This fiesta always takes place on 2nd August regardless of the day. The Moors and Christians normally starts at around 7pm on the evening of 2nd August.
